Los Angeles is well known for taking car culture to a new level. My intention in starting the Instagram account L.A. Cars and Their Drivers was not to focus on the car alone, but to explore the symbiotic relationship between car and driver. From the guy whose car and whose jeans are both low-riders, to the driver who indulges her dog’s urge to stick its head out the sunroof, how Angelenos express themselves through their vehicles is a constant source of fascination.
